This variety likely came into being as a crossbreed between the Cabernet franc and Sauvignon varieties. It’s grown all around the world. Our winery produces this wine from grapes which were grown in the vineyard villages of Bušince, Valice, and Sečianky. Cabernet Sauvignon has a rather long vegetative period which is why we usually harvest it by the end of October or early November. The grapes from which this wine was made came from Central Slovakia vineyard area.This wine is intensely ruby in colour. The smell is imbued with tones of black currants and hints of green paprika. The taste is subtle, full of the variety’s typical traits, with a finish of black spices. The wine has a higher content of anthocyanins and tannins.We recommend serving this wine with dark meats or various venison, beef, and mutton meals.Serving temperature 14-16°C.
