Product Description:

This is an old variety with unknown origins. The Blaufränkisch from our region is one of the highest-quality Slovak reds. The variety starts maturing sooner than most others and is usually reaped by the end of October. The grapes from which this wine was made came from Central Slovakia vineyard area from the vineyard village of Bušince.This wine is deeply ruby in colour, with bluish tones along the edges. The smell is dominated by strong tones of sour cherries, berry fruits, and black spices. The taste is intense, with a rich structure of tannins and spices.We recommend serving this wine with roast venison or duck, goulash, and smoked meats. Serving temperature: 15–18°C.
